MISelf in Books 2023 List

The 2023 MISelf in Books list has been announced for 2023. This is an annual list of inclusive books for Michigan learners. You can find this list on their website http://www.mimasl.org/miself-in-books.html or by scanning the QR code on the image below.

The list was created by a committee of certified school librarians (members of the Michigan Association of School Librarians) based on books they have seen learners reading and enjoying in their libraries.

The books are published in the last two years and are selected with a focus on authenticity. The list will include books for all grade levels: PreK-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
